Michael Bernard Beckwith

Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith is the founder and spiritual director of the Agape International Spiritual Center. Based in Los Angeles, California, Agape is a trans-denominational, multicultural community of thousands of local, national and international members and live streamers. Highly regarded for his teachings on the science of inner transformation, Dr. Beckwith embraces a practical approach to spirituality that acknowledges the accelerated pace of our contemporary times. His unique transmission of spiritual practices including meditation, affirmative prayer, and life visioning enable the practitioner to take the experience of inner peace coupled with awakened awareness into the activities of everyday life.

After  a chance encounter with Gerard (Gerry) Powell, Rythmia’s founder, during a time when Gerry was experiencing some of the most tumultuous moments of his life, Rev. Michael Beckwith eventually became an integral part of the inception of Rythmia Life Advancement Center.

Michael Beckwith is a proud board member at Rythmia, and brings the full weight of his life's work to this one-of-a-kind center because he believes, as we do, that the the Rythmia Way program, the medicine, and the community here create the precise conditions for the kind of awakened awareness he has spent decades pointing people toward.

As a spiritual leader, Rev. Beckwith has always taught about the unity of humanity and that of all life, including protecting the sanctity and preciousness of Mother Earth. One of the most immersive ways to experience this teaching first-hand is to participate in the Rythmia Way program, which includes four sacred ayahuasca ceremonies, the core modality used within our methodology.
